My name is José António Barreiros. I am a Portuguese lawyer who specialises in criminal law, with several publications and an academic career of 17 years as a University lecturer on that subject.

In addition to my law practice, over the past 30 years I have conducted research on foreign spy networks in Portugal during the Second World War and published several non-fiction books and articles on that topic.
